Fall is such a fun time of year! Our sweet nieces brought us some halloween clothes as a gift, up to the hospital, so we have been very festive these last couple weeks. John is growing by leaps and bounds, he is now 23 5/8th inches tall and 12 lbs 5.6 oz according to the docs scale last Monday. So he's grown over 2.5 inches and gained 4 lbs since leaving the hospital! He did momma a favor and slept for 6 hrs the other night, and we have gotten our first round of vaccines. John did very well getting his shots and was soothed as soon as mommy picked him up...Mommy on the other hand didn't like it at all! He is still our little laid back boy. He's cooing more, smiling occasionally and all in all just a busy little guy between naps. Mom interviewed a nice lady, Valerie, who we believe is going to come keep John at home while Mom and Dad go to work. We are so glad not to have to go to daycare, esp with all the scary swine flu, RSV, and regular flu out there! Valerie even passed the Riley test, who promptly laid down in front of her and demanded a belly rub, which of course she obliged!
This is a Blog for the Scot, Sheila, and John Magnusson Family. We live in Bessemer, AL with our dog Riley. We were blessed with the birth of John on Sept 13, 2009. Our lives will never be the same!
