John in Daddy's hospital bed. This kiddo has a good time wherever he is. Mother's day weekend Daddy had some sinus surgery and then had to spend the night at the hospital. He's doing great now. Of course we had to come cheer him up!
This is Grandma Barbknecht's new car! John really can't wait to get the keys!

1st mother's day morning! It was very special getting to spend my first mother's day with my mom and my son! Grandma kept John busy so momma could go to work!

John and Daddy got Momma such sweet cards! Of course John wanted to eat them!

We have had a very busy spring with a fun hot Summer ahead! John is keeping us on our toes. He is still full of smiles and giggles. He is sleeping from around 9 pm to about 7 or 8 every morning. At the ripe old age of 8 mths 1 day John got his first tooth on the bottom right. He is still gnawing on anything that he can get near his mouth and he still adores tags! John is now instigating peek a boo games, and zerberting our arms and legs! We are so blessed and we know it! For breakfast he eats a big bowl of rice or oat cereal and nurses, for lunch he has 1.5 to 2 jars of baby food and nurses, he usually nurses around 5 and then for dinner has 2 jars of baby food and then nurses again before bed. He is taking lots of Naps, Thank Goodness! Between breakfast and lunch he usually takes at least an hour and then between lunch and 5 pm he usually goes down for about 2 hrs. Momma is living on those naps some days! My best guess is he is right around 20 lbs, since he won't sit still on the scale for long! This week he has really been exploring the world and doing the army crawl. He slaps the floor, and then reaches out and pulls himself forward kicking his little legs behind him! It is hilarious to watch! He does scoot up on his knees, but when he wants to go he just drags himself around. He is also doing a lot of what we call 'superman'! He lays on his belly, puts both arms and legs up in the air and then whines to be picked up! if you get close enough he'll try and pull up on your leg. I have got to figure out how to get video on here!
