7 Months Old!

I know, I know...When he gets to be a teenager I'll crop the eyeballs and the ears off, OK! Lyndsey had a friend who makes these, and the pictures just turned out too cute!
I was using this duck to get his attention, John decided he was HONGRY! Sweet boy!

Our Sweet baby boy is now 7 months old. He is talking all the time. Favorite words are ba ba ba and da da da. We are pretty sure they don't have meaning yet, but he babbles all the time. Of course nothing like saying ma ma for me...but the other day he did say eeee aaaah, so I asked him if he was trying to say Sheila, instead of ma ma! He is sitting up really well and wants to stand all of the time too. When he is standing he is bouncing up and down. I now know the reason why they have always said bouncing baby boy... John is not really crawling yet, but he does scoot around the floor a bit. We are in so much trouble once he really is mobile. The other day I had his exersaucer too close to the coffee table and I put him in it while I took a shower. Pretty much everything he could reach, a couple books, a couple pictures and a couple pieces of mail were gummed very well! I thought it was too quiet in the living room when I got out of the shower! John loves PAPER! He grabs it, wads it up, and gums it to death. He also LOVES tags. Grandma Barbknecht made him a taggie blanket and he is all about getting the tags. Our little man is such a joy to us. He is still sleeping very well, from 9 o'clock to about 7 or 8 in the morning. He is eating 3 meals of baby food a day on top of nursing and weighs over 18 lbs. We have had several donations of baby food that our friend's kiddos won't eat, and so far peaches and pears are the only things he has totally refused!
